Cola to Chips by Dream Factory & JC magic

2026 Brand-New Magic Release — “Cola to Chips”

This is a magic prop created by Dream Factory in collaboration with JC Magic, meticulously refined over four years.

At the start of the performance, the magician displays a bottle of cola. To prove it is real, the magician unscrews the cap and pours out some cola for the audience to taste! The magician then places the entire bottle into a paper bag. With a gentle shake, a can of potato chips is produced from the bag—and the cola has vanished!

At this point, the audience will naturally assume the cola is hidden in a secret compartment inside the bag. But the magician opens the bag and shows it to be completely empty! The bag can be handed out for examination—it is nothing more than an ordinary paper bag!

Clever spectators may immediately suspect: Is the cola hidden inside the chips can? But then the magician continues by opening the chips can and pulling out a real box of potato chips, which is given to the audience to taste!

The cola is gone, the chips have appeared, and the entire process is clean, direct, and filled with continuous reversals.

“Cola to Chips” is not merely a simple switching prop—it is a complete magic structure. It cleverly combines “the disappearance of the cola” with “the appearance of the chips,” creating continuous visual misdirection. What the audience sees is a bottle of cola going into the bag; what they remember is the impossible moment when a can of chips and a real box of potato chips appear.

Suitable for close-up magic and stage interactive magic. The handling is smooth, and the impact is strong.

No angle restrictions! You can perform this magic in any setting!
There are no complex sleights—the gimmick does all the work.

The idea for this prop first emerged around 2017, but the version at that time was not suitable for production. It could only be performed from the front, various details of the prop were incomplete, and the performance felt very forced. As a result, the project was shelved for six years. Then, in 2022, “Cola to Chips” was put back on the schedule. Jointly refined by Dream Factory and JC Magic, with countless revisions to details and specifications, and after four years of development, this prop has finally been perfected and released!
