The Effect of The Coincidenc3
The magician holds one deck, the spectator a second deck—both with different backs. Both decks are shown, faces and backs fully displayed. The two decks are then shuffled separately.
The magician and spectator take turns dealing cards face up onto the table, building a single pile, and stop whenever they choose. At this point, two cards are secretly exchanged. They continue dealing face up, then exchange two more cards. This process is repeated a total of three times.
Without any odd moves or special techniques, both decks are spread face up to reveal three matching-backed cards (works with Bicycle, Tally Ho, Aviator, Phoenix, or any standard deck backs). When those three cards are flipped face down and revealed, they are a perfect match—simple, direct, and powerful. That is The Coincidenc3.
