The Choice of Happiness

Effect:
The routine begins with two coins resting in the palm: one wears a cheerful smile, the other a frown.
You pick up the smiling coin—yet the moment you open your hand, both coins remain together, unchanged.

You try once more, this time lifting the frowning coin. Still, when your hand opens, it appears as if nothing was moved—the angry coin remains anchored in place.

Then comes the magical climax: with a subtle gesture, you reveal that both coins have somehow returned. The smile and the frown coexist again, as though no action had taken place at all.

Finally, in the closing phase, you remove the smiling coin and slowly open your hand.
This time, the frowning coin has vanished completely.
Only the happy coin remains—quietly, confidently, as if it had always been the only choice.
